Although we are saddened at the loss of a loved one, a big part of the funeral ceremony is a celebration of the life lived. The visitation and funeral is a time to gather with friends and family to share memories and stories of the special times we had. This also reminds us that although a person may not be in our daily life they are never forgotten.
